Known for having creepy figures and faces within this lighting technique, it offers an amazing visual appeal for viewers as it dramatically changes the way we respond to objects or figures. I found that I preferred utilising lighting from below, as it offered an intriguing effect which blacked out some of the elements and gives an effective look.
I would note that it is very difficult to work with disobedient animals in this technique, as the camera slows the shutter speed making images blurry with movement.

The image below my opinion, the most successful. I really love the shadows cast by the flowers of the corsage, the contrast which is created from the red, black and white looks very effective. I thought this image looked slightly abstract as the close up and the darkness (with the lighting from below) cuts off the clarity of the scene.
